There are six 11 x17 posters Digital Full Color 80# Gloss Cover Paper.

The posters are shipped in 2 inches x 12 inches shipping tub to protect the edges and quality. This visual historical timeline highlights Black counterstories or less-known stories about Black Deaf life, starting from the continent of Africa to the Black Lives Matter Movement. Black history is often missing the perspectives of Deaf people, and Deaf history is often missing Black life.

This timeline was created to breathe life into James Baldwin's words, "Know from whence you came. If you know whence you came, there are absolutely no limitations to where you can go." In the spirit of abolitionist education, these posters aim to start a conversation, ignite curiosity, make history more accessible, fight against the erasure of Black Deaf people, and support making Deaf education racially inclusive.
